Teriyaki Black Cod in Air Fryer

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer (You can make this in a conventional oven as well)

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1/2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 Black Cod fillet

Instructions

Teriyaki Cod

  • In a small bowl combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sake, and cornstarch
  • Using aluminum foil, create a basket (big enough to fit the cod and about 5 cm height)
  • Place cod in the aluminum foil basket and pour soy sauce mixture over cod. Loosely seal the top with aluminum foil. Make sure none of the soy sauce mixture is running out of the foil.
  • Place in air fryer
  • Air fry at 350F (180C) for about 8 minutes depending on size of fish
  • Flip the fish over halfway through so it can cook evenly
  • Serve with rice or in bento and enjoy!
